What is Jojo Sunshine?
Jojo Sunshine shares joy and light through art and education.
Maggie Murray is the artist and founder of Jojo Sunshine. She is a professional educator, holding an M.Ed in elementary education from DePaul University.
Before diving full-time into creative freelance work, she served as a classroom teacher and the art specialist at A Renaissance School of Arts and Sciences in Portland, Oregon. Her experience of teaching through the arts is profoundly influential to her work and philosophy on life: Create with intention, flow like water, and find joy in the process.
She founded Maggie Murray Design Studio in 2020, where runs her art business and provides private academic and creative instruction to kids.
When she’s not painting, drawing, or teaching, you can find Maggie SUP boarding (in the summer months!), vintage and thrift shopping, mushroom hunting, xc running, camping, hiking, and hanging out with her husband, David, and cat, Toast.
